The Farm
We lived in small towns in Holland and always dreamed of having a hobby farm in the country. We found it in Ontario, Canada.
The first time we saw the property we fell in love. The location was perfect; nestled on a quite road overlooking fields, farms and the forest. The apple and pear trees in the front yard complete the perfect picture.
Our property ends at the Beaver River conservation wetlands. This area proves there are still beaver at work! It is also a haven for many varieties of birds and animals.

We bought the property in the spring of 2002 and furnished our home with auction pieces and souvenirs, providing a touch of Europe. The gardens are landscaped with rocks from the basement of the original home.
We are a fun loving young couple and animals always played an important part in our lives. You will find dogs, cats, chickens, goats and a pot bellied pig around the farm. Many of the animals are rescued and some are even born here. We will give you a tour when you arrive and after that, you are welcome to roam our property and visit the friendly animals at any time during your stay.
There are always projects on the go and our guests are welcome to come and watch.
Rolling Hills Farm’s Guesthouse offers the small farm lifestyle. Our farm reflects our passion for nature and the environment.
